The Colorado SuperChair's bottom terminal is completely gone, and tower 1 has also come down. Only the foundations remain.

Not an American lift but here are some pictures of the new Doppelmayr 3S gondola in Ischgl, Austria called the Pardatschgratbahn, it looks like a pretty cool lift and will be the first use of the CWA Taris cabins. (http://www.ischgl.co...?category=78451)

So does it work better than it did before the migration? and anyone in ops/maintenance taking bets on it running (even if only for events) next winter?

Seems to run okay. We put a new drive in (a soft-start) and it took a huge amount of alignment but it's running. My guess is Woodward will want it for big events. They're too smart (despite the bro-brah attitude they affect) to waste a good investment on six to eight weeks of summer camps only.

So it's not a public lift? I figured that was the purpose of it so that the park rats didn't have to lap to Flyer or Union Creek.

Nope, not a public lift. Consider the way the park is built in the winter; it extends beyond the new lift on both ends so it won't be good to lap anyway.

Beaver Creek began the process of removing the former Centennial towers today. (https://www.facebook...1430635/?type=1) They also say that the tower foundations for the new towers are complete.

Not enough capacity - there is a 6 pack Chondola taking its place.

Plus, a shiny new chondola will look better on t.v. for the World Alpine Ski Championships then the quad would.

They don't show that part of the resort, really...It is a good upgrade, especially since that's pretty much the only main lift out of the base.
