I will begin us with some new Kensho SuperChair photos. Since I did my photo tour of the lift three weeks ago, there have been some minor modifications done to the lift. Namely, that an "In case of Emergency" warning notice has been added at tower 9 and a "Snow cats and other vehicles may be encountered at any time" notice on tower 12. Said signs had been installed on Zendo prior to the December 25th opening day. There, they appear on towers 2 and 3.
Not shown in my photo tour was that the lift name has been printed in silver letters, on the south side of the upper terminal. This is the first chairlift at Breckenridge to use the same font as the new trail signs installed across all five peaks. It contrasts greatly with the Typerwriter font of the Independence SuperChair's terminals or the Times New Roman utilized on the Mercury SuperChair, Colorado SuperChair and Rocky Mountain SuperChair.
Speaking of Zendo, I still think it's outright hilarious that the people who installed the sign board at the bottom were apparently under the impression that Zendo was a high speed quad:
I like that I can get a lot of vertical feet with one run on the Kensho SuperChair - 1,540 feet approximately. It has the second most vertical drop after the Beaver Run SuperChair's 1,600 vertical foot drop. That's why in four and a half hours of skiing today, even with some crowds at points, I was able to do about 22,300 feet, including three trips on the Kensho SuperChair. I also now have a Sixth Sense EpicMix pin, which is what you earn for doing six trips combined on Zendo and the Kensho SuperChair. This pin apparently also counted my previous trips on both lifts from December 26th.
