I'll bite. Rumors of the Deer Valley to Main Street gondola had it going in for 2015. Physically and legally difficult, but maybe it's on the table

Didn't you mention Crags would be 2015? Also, what happened to Red Dog and Hot Wheels?

I haven't seen anything official on either one of those.

Possibly the Valley House FGQ at Sugarbush...or is that scheduled to go in this summer?

Not this summer. Forest Service needs to approve it first.

Last I heard it was out for proposal and no manufacturer had been chosen yet as well.

I think Summer 2015 is a good bet on this. From what I hear from my sources, there has been no opposition from anyone. The city is fully behind it, with plans to make it part of the transit system, and take some of the Silver Lake buses offline once the gondola goes in. The Huntsman family, which owns a large parcel of land sitting directly between Main Street and Silver Lake, has offered up a piece of the property for an angle/mid station. But the alignment is very tricky, between getting up and out of Main Street and then avoiding all the houses in Silver Lake.

Hopefully something at Loveland, CO?? I was talking with a ski Patrol yesterday and it doesn't sound like much this summer other than repairing the H-90 Platter lift which has not been able to run this season. Noticed a decent size line for mid-reload on #2 yesterday. Would be really nice to split that into two separate lifts as stated on master plan. We'll have to wait and see.

I can't remember what types of chairlifts the master plan called for lifts 2A and 2B to become. My best recollection is either two triples or two fixed grip quads.

Just spoke to someone up here at Lutsen Mountains, MN, where, believe it or not, we're still skiing. Their gondola replacement is slated for next summer barring exceptionally low skier traffic next winter. Based on previous installations at Granite Peak and here at Lutsen, I'm guessing L-P. *crossing fingers*

That is really good news, the old gondola is on its last leg...

How were conditions today? Photos I have seen look pretty good.. For May...

Conditions were good. Soft snow but full coverage on pretty much all of Eagle. They could probably last another week if they really wanted to. Even Moose was still pretty well covered, but it's been closed for three weeks.

The gondi needs help. The operator's white board has notes about four or five cabins with the large windows popping out and several cabins have been tripping faults along the line. Plus, the roof of the Eagle side is beginning to collapse. They've got it stopped with cabins on the line and two are up at the high span. It would be great if some night a wind gust took them off the line and they could use their insurance to replace now. One more season isn't terrible though.

They have been talking about a lift on Peaked above Sac for a long time, as well as a replacement for Blackfoot. They have been going back and forth as to which project will happen first. Up until now, both projects were just hypothetical and far off. I'm exited to see one of my favorite resorts going forward, or at least trying to.

I love Targhee but this is not going to fly. The owner lost both his house and the commercial property he owned in Driggs to foreclosure. Now he wants Teton County to buy and continue to own a chairlift until it has depreciated enough for him to buy it?

As of the last few days, there is a lift line cut up the Crags at Jackson Hole. I drew it in along with Casper and Apres Vous for reference in the first photo.

We are looking at just a double most likely right? Still, that looks like a fantastic lift. I really need to ski Jackson...
