Are there any other lifts in North America that cross railroad tracks? I can't think of any. I'm surprised there are no nets under the chair there.

Well, Jeff got to it first but when I got my email update, I knew too..here is some pics I took from the train.

I think it's an auxilary lift.
I do wonder if there are other active lifts that cross over active railroad mainlines. It's Tunnel 41, I know and this is the only case. The Heron appears to have a number of close towers to rise up enough to have clearance for doublestack containers.

From all the pictures I have seen of the Double chair during the winter the chairs ARE NOT on the line. So My guess is the lift is SBNO

I still think they're rare. I just wonder why there are no catch fences under both lifts at the railroad crossing.
