Not as easy as you think.... Most lifts I know of with older TB grips and new-style carriers/towers (1996-1997-ish) are clockwise rotation. Knowing where you ski, I was going to guess Breck, but I don't think it's any of those.

Sunshine at Steamboat? Could be the old Tombstone at The Canyons, it rotated that way and had the new style carriers and towers

My bet is Rocky Mtn chair at Breck, too many trees for Sunshine at Steamboat

Obviously I stumped you guys. :)
One hint: the first photo's chairlift is named after a lady, and has a sister high speed quad that shares a nickname with a mining town in Colorado and a gondola in Aspen. (The sister quad is attached)

I second that. I almost guessed Red Lady but I did not remember it running up a slope that steep. I guess it does. I hope to get down to CB next season, my Daughter has never skied there and we have the 3 days at Monarch (as part of our Loveland season passes for the coming season). CB is not too much further, would be nice to take advantage.

Right, and the sister quad is the Silver Queen Express lift. I took the photos in Februrary. Red Lady and Silver Queen, although they start at the same location, travel through different environments: Red Lady travels through evergreen forests for most of its run above tower 8, whereas Silver Queen runs mostly through aspens until about tower 16. Silver Queen is also the steeper of the two. I don't think I've been on a lift steeper than Silver Queen before in my life, unless someone cares to measure the steepness of Birds of Prey at Beaver Creek.

You'll have to ride Deep Temerity at Aspen Highlands sometime when you have a chance, that one is quite steep.

The only one I've been on that is close in steepness to Silver Queen would be Birds of Prey at Beaver Creek. Northwoods at Vail is close in the upper part. Based on photos, Mt. Hood at Mount Hood Meadows is probably just as steep.

Oh, and I was expecting that someone would be able to deduce that the lift had an 1,800 pph capacity based on chair spacing, which should have narrowed things down.
