I am surprised that no one has guessed at this topic yet. Here is another pic of the area.

Fun, actually, really fun, local ski family owned 'growing' area. The Peaks have been expanding for the last ???20+?? years. Basically shifted their skiing 'center' by building 2 seperate peaks and diging a big hole where skiing once was. Its on my list this winter. Lots of t-bar and rope tows parts scattered about in the surrounding hills.

I can't really blame them for wanting to make the "peaks" bigger. All of their natural terrain lacks vertical and steepness. It was kinda nice though. There is a ridge that goes from the far skiers right of north peak to part of the abandoned ski area. Since it is abandoned very few people had skied it. It was my favorite part of the area that day.

Does anyone have any guesses on the lifts in the first picture? There are three that are visible. If not then I have more pics of the area to post.

Well no one seems to be getting this one. So here are the answers. The lifts are 1) abandoned Hall double chair 2) Abandoned Doppelmayr T-Bar 3) Abandoned Hall T-bar. If you are looking at Caberfae's current trail map, these lifts are located to the far left. As skier691 said, this part of the ski area was abandoned and excavated to make the current "peaks" bigger. It is really amazing just how much of the area is lost.
