Hi guys - was searching the net and found this place. Looks really good and I hope someone here can help me in my troubles.
I am supervising the only ski lift in a large rural area. We just got the lift up and running after it had been down for three years. The lift is a button lift/platter lift. On the first day disaster struck. The plastic that connects to the wire (not sure what it's called in English - will toss in pictures) started breaking. We started with 27 buttons in play but now we have opnly 9 left. I've searched all over the country for spare parts but didn't find any.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction - I need to find a way to get the lift up and running asap.
Here's the thing I need.

Best regards from Iceland.

I'm sure someone will be able to help you. Keystone had a lift or two that that had the same type of " carrots " as we called the carriers. But they got rid of them 5 years or so back.

We have a few, I can ask if we plan on keeping them.
Does anyone know if Staedeli is still in business? If so, maybe you could contact them and see how long it would take for an order of replacement handles.

Hey again
Thanks for quick replies.
@liftmech: Would be great. I think Staedeli was bought by Doppelmayr some years back.
@Keymech: Who or what is Keystone?
I also sent an inquery to starlifts.com after a tip from barnstormer.
