Favorite Colour
Guest_mjturley34_* 10 Jun 2008
What's your favorite color ? I think mine is probably blue. I don't like people whose favorite colour is red. If you like the color orange I'll probably think you're strange but won't get as mad as if you like the color magenta. No matter what color is your favorite I'm still gonna think my color is better. Let's spend lots of time arguing about opinions that have nothing to do with ski lifts

It's summer, what else is there to do? Green in '08! (The color, not the party)

I think you need to be more specific. When you say your favorite color is blue, what do you mean? Azure, cerulean, cobalt, cornflower, indigo, the ubiquitous navy? You weren't very clear. I think we need about 20 pages on this thread to get it all sorted out. You are right about red, though. Any red. I read somewhere that red is considered an angry color and anyone who claims red as their favorite will show evidence on a CT scan of tiny nodules that are associated with increased anger-response and the tendency to tell knock-knock jokes. Oh...wait...maybe I didn't read that. I might have made it up.

Pink is so overrated--except for the epic music associated with it. My favorite color used to be purple, but since society has been telling me that the color purple no longer matches my personality or orientation, I have had all my government documents changed to display that my favorite color is now green. Some have accused me of succumbing to new environmental fads, but I really just like the color green. In fact, if there was a color called "olive-green," I might drool a little.

I WORE olive green for four years - two of them in southeast Asia. Drooled most of the time.

Sorry about my non-specificness. Right now my favorite shade of blue is sky blue because that's what color my 15mg morphine CR tablets are. They don't do much to aid in my pain but they sure are pretty. I think maybe a swirl of sky blue & navy blue is perhaps the bestest color in the world if two shades of the same color swirled together can be a color.
Yellow is a color that is very complex and I'm thinking that I don't like it at all. What's good that is yellow anyways ?
ps- I think all you grennies are weenies !!!!

Cheese. Cheese is good.
I hate to agree but yellow Nacho Cheese from 7-11 is very tasty !! Why is cheese yellow ? It should be white. Unfortunately my current meds prevent me from eating white & blue cheeses

What's better cheese or cheesy ? Too bad there's not more cheese that's sky blue

MJturley34 is going to think I'm strange because I like Orange. And anyone who likes blue is out of their mind.

You guys are overlooking the IMPACT of beige.
Beige is the color (not colour - that's from the English - esp. Donovan - although some ignorant Canadians still cling to it) that rotting bacteria assumes; recycled napkins, bad mayonnaise and stink-finger toilet paper. Beige is the color that white folks turn when they croak - the color of crappy concrete - the color of no-taste cars. It's the color of a vanilla milkshake - with a touch of chocolate (or bad milk). It's the color of a diaper after the baby has been around a few days. Hemp rope - crappy paper - computer monitors and almond shells. It's everywhere - and it seldom means "danger" - as some bright colors do.
Beige is the "vanilla color" - acceptable to all faiths and all doctrines... especially followers of Joe Smith.
Bright colors are dangerous - and affiliation with them is SUSPECT. Expect a visit from the homeland security agency (or the Danites) if such hues are your preference. You will be routed out.

I think my favorite colour is the lovely greeny blue color of the lake(Rhonda Lake) in my avatar. As my Honourable Labour Neighbour Bud pointed out, a lot of us Northerners Favour using the U. Being a NY Time crossword junky, I have to be bilingual and often drop the U in correspondence. Interesting to note the spelling of Shuttle Endeavour.

Is it possible to go off topic in the off topic topic? You spelled color wrong.

A good half of the world would say you spelled colour wrong. In any case, Emax, you can't just be beige or you'll rot out and just add to the mixing can of beige. Especially you of all people, defying the beigeness of the most common building in your state!! I would think that your favorite color would be something vibrant like fuchsia or better yet cerulean. Where has beige taken anyone??!! As for me, I'm going with acid green! It stands out yet it's neutral at the same time.
Now if we wanted to go towards the inevitable political discussion that will follow...... PM me if you're really that interested.
