Doppelmayr Ctec

It's now the year 2004 and Doppelmayr CTEC have been merged for just less than 2 years. Your probably wondering what they have taken away from their product list right? Well, here's what they have taken away in their high-speed lift department. It looks like you can kiss the AK 400 detachable grip good bye from what it looks like. They now only offer the DT-104 grip and the Agamatic dual coil spring grip. It also looks like the CTEC carrier design has been replaced with Doppelmayr's carrier design and the STEALTH terminal designs have all been retired including STEALTH 3. However, the UNI-G is still available. I hope that UNI-GS gets retired by next year do to lack of orders. :) I'm just looking at all the products they offer in the ad in my new SAM issue. However, they could offer some products still, but I doubt it. *AK 400 grip is not listed for new lifts*
However, in my SAM magazine they don't show any pictures of their new fixed grip lifts or what they will be coming with. However I'm guessing maybe they will be based on CTEC's design since they are more popular than doppelmayr, however I think that they will use Doppelmayr carrier design on them. There's really since on making to carrier frames. Plus I think Doppelmayr's looks a lot nicer. I guess you could say that CTEC will live on in the fg world of lifts while Doppelmayr will be running the high-speed end.
There's also a picture of the new UNI-GS, which I hope to post in the next few days.

Yes, I really hate Doppelmayr since they merged together. Their lifts are much slower.
I don't like their terminals

I hate DoppelmayrCTEC and Leitner-Poma since they merged. CTEC and Leiner made better products alone.

I agree about the ugly UNI-GS terminal but that's the only thing that is new since the merger, everything else was still offered by both companies, so their products were the same.
They merged because it's the only way they could stay alive. There's not that high of a demand of lifts anymore and resorts are pretty much built up.
I don't think that Doppelmayr CTEC or Leitner Poma offer crappy products. They have only improved and will learn from each other.

Correction, these two companies never merged. Doppelmayr bought out Garaventa and Garaventa had a merger with CTEC here in North America. So that's why we see Doppelmayr CTEC instead of just Doppelmayr like how it looks over in Europe.
Poma was sold to Leitner. So none of these lift companies actually ever merged, but were bought out really.
What pictures are you looking for? UNI-G or UNI-GS or both?

I don't know that model. I remember John saying they were also uni-g's but I always thought the UNI-G was the name of the lifts I posted above except the last picture which is the UNI-GS. The UNI-G's original name was called the Spacejet, but later renamed to UNI-G.

the uni-gs is alright except the lack of windows on the front and rear of the terminal
