NEW Mt. hood Ski Bowl web cam

aug's Photo aug 06 Feb 2006

We just installed a new web cam at the top of the hill. You can control it for two minutes at a time ;up ,down, zoom .You can actually zoom in to see a sheave turning that fills the whole screen. It sure helps when the the wind is blowing .I can see the lift line without leaving the warmth of the "maintenance lodge"(some new lift op coined this term for the shop). check it out at skibowl webcam

Some of the other ski areas that have those are Park City, The Canyons, Big Sky, and Boyne Mountain.

ohhhh, I can't wait to get back in March for some good spring skiing! I'm hoping a storm or two so I can have some fun with some fresh stuff in the outback! Hopefully my move into my place goes smooth so I don't have to deal with that crap and get plenty of time on the hill. My skis and my car miss me!!!!
We just had a helluva hail storm last night, wow that was a rough one, no power outage, so I didn't have to go out in the crap luckily.

See you in March!!! I'll be the one with a smile on my face and a cold beer in my hand at the warming hut!

Well after this March vacation, I'll be taking the month of June off for the World Cup in Germany, then come back and finish up my contract in August.... From there, I know I'll need a break, that will put me at 3 1/2 years in the desert. After that, not too sure yet, I always have my job at Cummins NW in Portland waiting for me, but I have gotten spoiled on this not paying taxes thing, so who knows how long I'll stay. Time will tell. I'm gonna try and stay at my place for a ski season so I can make up for lost time.

Blackcomb had a indentical one to this for its advanced terrain park and the bike park, unfortunately they dont have it anymore. It was pretty cool to see people going off of features in the park.
