Skilift Ride Videos- Your feedback?

I have a question for you guys out there...
As you may know, I have a Youtube Channel, on which I post real-time Skilift Ride Videos, among other things. I am limited somewhat by a lack of weather-proof equipment and only basic knowledge of video editing, which leads to some of these videos not being of quite the quality I would have liked. But, I make them because I feel it gives people a sense of exactly what it's like to be on the lift.
My query to you: How many of you really watch and enjoy these types of videos? Is there anything I could be doing better/differently? I'd appreciate your feedback.

I watch these videos a fair amount but I am looking for equipment on the towers and terminals. I work in the industry and sometimes an item of interest comes up at another mountain. I hunt down a video for that chair lift and it helps to see the location and relate it to the event.
Most importantly keep the cameras pointing forward and up so that terminals and tower equipment are in your field of view.
Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks for your time in making the videos.
Lift installs are unique, and a variety of videos for quick reference are great. I am looking at the line machinery, structural, and terminals. The views from lifts can be great too, but the views may be better seen in person.

As said above, it seems more practical not to go for the ride but for the machinery
I used to just point my cam forward, haha, but feel kinda dumb for it now
Granted my camera's dead so it's not like I do it anymore

Agreed with what's said above. Nice too see all the station machinery and tower equipment as well as the odd view. I like to watch lift videos myself for the noises/rattles the lift makes and also comparing a ride on a removed lift vs it's new replacement. Just try and make sure the camera is still and keep up the good work.

I more focus on the scenery in my videos.

I echo what Lift Kid said. The sounds of the lifts, in particular the fixed grip ones. I want to hear the motor noise/wine/scream at the terminals. I want to hear the shiv liners squeaking on the ones that like to squeak. I want to hear that low vibration hum that is very noticeable when going over a tower. To me, that is music to my ears.
