My ski area is getting a fixed Partek quad, so I thought I would try to find a web site, and I found one, sure enough. http://www.partekski...s.com/index.htm :)

Interesting. Not very customizable, but the lifts dont look too bad. I also wonder about their detachable systems. Only time will tell.

The TeePee Town double chair at Sunshine Village (Mueller) recieved new carriers either this season or last. Originally, I thought that they were upgraded chairs from their old Wheeler double (also a Mueller). Now, looking at this new web site it looks very much like the new chairs were supplied by Partek. Whadya think, Edmontonguy?

The chairs resemble the older Doppelmayr's and in a way The hanger arms seem to attach like Leintner's

Partek has committed to the development of a detachable quad lift system. We are currently in the design phase and will have prototypes ready for testing by spring-summer of 2005. The decision to enter this market has arisen from requests by Ski Area operators and the consolidation of existing manufacturers. Our objective is to broaden our product line and to be as competitive in detachables as we are in the fixed grip market. The development of such a complex system is a monumental undertaking for Partek. Our focus will remain on safety, functionality and reliability of the equipment. As this project evolves, updates will be posted to our web site. Upon successful testing we will offer our detachable product to the market.
All inquiries are welcome and we would greatly appreciate an opportunity to quote on your equipment needs.
Sincerely,

Hagen G. Schulz
President

That will be interesting to see another detachable manufacturer. I wonder if they will use the same style 'question mark' chairs (good description)

I wonder what the terminal design will be? A Completely new design or an extention of the current Fg design.

Maybe we could e-mail Partek and see if it has any concept drawings for the new hsq design?

Let's just hope that they have better PR than the other companies.
