Weekly diesel run. First 5 mins is diesel idle only. The rest is lift running and doing some pre op checks.

Will be working on a shorter version soon.

Yep. And they are not Cummins like I thought they were. They are Detroit Engines. We ended up running the VX today for 4 hrs on Diesel and had a full load during that time. She pulled the load just fine and it sounded GREAT. :)

Yeah I was wondering about that, the Diesels sure did not sound like Cummins or Cats. Nice to see Detroit Diesel applications out there!!

I don't know about going wrong, but an E-stop must have been issued, because the engines were cut.

Yes the ebrakes did drop. however if you watch it closely you will see why the ebrakes dropped... (stops compared to the last one)

I've watched and watched and can't figure anything out, unless it was a safety gate of some sort (which I don't think that lift has one?) or you were doing a power loss test?

I was doing zone tests, and each stop was getting longer and longer until it tripped the ebrake.....

With a Poma on a normal stop the service brakes are "pulse applied" when running the big diesel. Doing multiple AC stops on Aux is not the best thing for the service brakes. The disc and pads start heating up to a point where braking force is reduced. From the tail end of the video the stop took about 12 seconds and the decel fault kicks in after ~10 seconds. A decel fault is an ES fault.
Anything is possible when you don't understand what you are talking about.

Correct. The Decel faults kicks in once it hits 75ft I was not watching the sec count. It should stop anywhere from 55ft to 74ft. when loaded it was avg around 61ft.

More silly falls for all to enjoy!

Why the lift does not stop, IDK?!

Because the general rule:

1. Season Pass $500.35
2. Lift Ticket $300.85
3. Falling Off a Chairlift because you had issues -- Priceless rolleyes:

There are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's SkierCard.

Or:

Check out this video of an unloading mishap on Quicksilver Super6:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=PgJeHBpjt_0

however, I still don't realize why they didn't slow the lift until after the second skier fell, when they should have slowed it after the first one fell. The first skier falling caused the second to fall as well.

(Breck Super6) first fall = no need for a slow or stop. 2nd fall... Well they should of kept it on slow until he was clear.
