The gondi at Water World hasn't had any problems yet(that I'm aware of) I just hope that the Yan curse doesn't strike the pulse gondi at Water World. (like the ice cream isn't expensive enough)

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

what you have heard does not mean much in the skilift world... Just remember that. Not every problem is made public.

They do look yanish. The towers there are certinly robust.

Curse it too strong a word to describe what has happened to yan. Sure they had a few accidents but many other manufactuers that have had accidents too. Yan's accidents were just at the time when information was available worldwide minutes after an accident has occured. Besides more people died on Vails gondola than the whistler yan HSQ accident.

Thats very true, many things you don't ever hear anything about unless there is someone with media connections in the right place(or wrong place) at the right time, the resort releases something about it, or you hear about it here.

Here's a shot of the startline in the 13km event at the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski festival. There were about 300 people in this race and the shot was taken with about a minute to go until start. I'm # 3430
